As John Adams stated in his letter to the Massachusetts Militia in 1798, he warned them of the dangers what would come if America were to stray from the Christian virtue. He wrote:
Because we have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge, or gallantry would break the strongest cords of our Constitution on as a whale goes through a net. Our constitution was made only for a moral and religion people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of another.
Our early founders based the Constitution upon the virtues of the Bible values like honesty, integrity and fidelity.
These are the same virtues we as Christian Businessmen go forth in the fray of life. I am leading and pointing to Christ our Savior for our families, our city, our state and our country. This process begins with you men with whom I am pointing the way. As I follow Him, follow me and we together we overcome the world around us. This movement cannot be stopped, now we can self-destruct, but I refuse to give up on you small band of brothers. My Six Shooter is loaded with real bullets, the bullets of righteousness, fidelity, honesty, integrity, self-control and the silver bullet of Grace.
As Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 4:15 and 16 (NLT), he said:
“For even if you had ten thousand others to teach you about Christ, you have only one Spiritual Father. For I became your father in Christ Jesus, when I preached to Good news to you, So I urge you to imitate me.”
