Whenever you use the name of God as in cussing in any form, you are calling upon God as a witness to your soul. This is calling God as witness to verify as to the Highest Source to settle strife for men verily swear by the Greater, and an oath of confirmation is to them the end of all strife. When you call God as a witness against your soul, you are indeed making a solemn pronouncement by swearing in God’s name as though you were speaking directly to him. God let me carry the blame if what I say is not wholly the truth. God is the final arbiter of Truth and Life. Arbiter is a person whose judgment or decision is accepted as the final, like a judge or decision maker. When you use His name in vain and say something Like “JC this or that” or “GD this person” or” GD it”, remember in Exodus 20:7:
“You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain”
If you take the Lord’s name as a punch line, remember there is a direct punishment happening to you and the punishment is immediate. Men wonder why bad things happen to them, and they do not success or process well in life, well here is your answer. STOP IT. IT IS A SIN.
Additional thought about “Avatar”, as in the movie Avatar means the humans form of a deity, like in Hinduism. This movie is teaching our kids and our culture that Humans can become Avatar’s it is the ANOTHER FORM of rebellion against God Almighty, the ultimate form of paganism. Kill the movie and the thought before it takes root.
